About Chenery

Few if any local landmarks can boast the storied history of this beautiful and acoustically superior performance hall. Constructed over a century ago, Chenery Auditorium continues to receive rave reviews from audiences and artists alike becuase its wonderful natural acoustics rank with some of the best concert halls in the world.

Our address and parking information

Chenery Auditorium is located in Kalamazoo Public Schools Community Education Center (CEC or Old Central). The address is 714 S. Westnedge Ave. CEC is also the home of KAMSC (Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center), KILP (Kalamazoo Innovative Learning Program), Adult Education and a number of KPS departments including facilities management, technology services, library services and food services. 

Parking is located behind the building and is accessible via both Vine Street and West Dutton Street. There is also street parking available surrounding the building.
